Online Color Analysis for Gaby, Italy

This is just a taster of the results of Online Color Analysis for Gaby from Italy.  

Color Analysis is an online service and Gaby completed a comprehensive questionnaire and included a few photos so that I completely understood her coloring, ethnic background and I was aware of any concerns.

The result? A stunning color palette to complement her natural coloring enabling her to look and feel her most attractive.

Gaby's reason for wanting Online Color Analysis

Gaby is a successful business woman with a strong sense of style but wanted to confirm her coloring. She had been recommended to use golden tones in her makeup to compliment her (presumed) warm skin but the colors weren't actually flattering her at all. 

Italian skin tones are very diverse reflecting the rich cultural and geographical variations across the country and, while most skin tones are a version of olive the majority having a warm (yellow/green) undertone, this is not always the case.

From her natural photos I was able to identify that Gaby's skin is olive toned but it is COOL and DEEP. She is instinctively drawn towards the Winter colors and they are a superb backdrop to her dramatic coloring. 

Fortunately, one of her photos was a studio shot with professional makeup and, the artist got it spot on; she looks radiant! I show you the before and after makeup transformations that explain her color direction so clearly.  

Unfortunately, sales assistants even many makeup artists, however well trained, are rarely experts in color and skin tones. When choosing makeup colors do take time to request a sample foundation to try at home before parting with your hard earned money!

Even when the makeup color isn't perfect, it's still Winter colors that flatter

Gaby says: "I bought a lot of makeup in recommended colors and was "in a test phase". 🙂 I find it very interesting that I always subconsciously preferred Winter colors in clothes whereas my makeup was presumed to be Warm! Overall, I am enjoying this new experience very much.🙂
