Hi there
We appear to be living in a different climate to 2 weeks ago when I announced that Summer had arrived in the UK! It's back into Winter at the moment but we are used to it. It keeps us on our toes!
Fortunately, many of you will be thoroughly enjoying some beautiful sunshine and hopefully have special occasions coming up. It's good to give your makeup bag a refresh for the warmer weather and ensure that you are making the best of yourself. Still not sure whether your makeup is doing you justice? Then check out the Warm and Cool article below and ensure that you are wearing the most flattering shades for your skin.
It's a bumper Beauty Spotlight Team entry today, some great skincare items featured!
I've had some great comments about my Work your Wardrobe feature from last time. It's just a timely reminder to make the most of what you have, it's so easy to allow things to get 'out of sight, out of mind'!
Until next time, take care and have fun ! Pamela x
If you don't know your color direction, just identify whether you have a Warm or Cool skin tone. Of course it helps you to choose the clothes you wear but it's even more important when you're looking for makeup shades.
The first thing everyone looks at is your face and so being able to choose the most flattering makeup colors is like an outfit for your face! Check it out then you can go on to see the beautiful makeup shades that are just perfect for you!
My contribution to the team this month is Free Color Analysis for Women! If you haven't tried this yet, it's a timely reminder!
Rene Furterer Karité Hydra Hydrating Day Creamoffers all-day hydration, and Lola's Secret Beauty Blog loves that it fights frizz and makes hair manageable and shiny.Cass is part of an active family who have a wonderfully outdoor and active lifestyle living close to the beach.
She'd always found it difficult to decide on colors - but she definitely had a problem with wearing red! She had worn it as part of a uniform for some time and always found that it brought out some redness in her complexion. The other slight concern were the blonde highlights in her hair - Cass really didn't feel comfortable with the golden tones.
Identifying a problem always helps in finding the best color direction and both of these factors were easy to address.
Once I'd established that Cass belongs to the Cool Color Family it was easy to see that she was simply required to wear the wrong shade of red for uniform and why she had problems with her hair color. A beach side life means that the sun is always ready to add brassy tones to her blonde highlights and a silver toner would make such a big difference and eliminate the gold.
"Love your colour analysis, I contacted you as I was having trouble analysing myself and now I know why. Not quite summer and not quite winter, just cool.
The colours that you have are excellent, each of them I am drawn to. Some of these colours I already have so pairing them together with some new items will be fun and a challenge. ( buying them and my partner not questioning whether I already had it🤣)
Thank you so much for your expertise. I'm pleased for you to use my image and reply on your testimonial page." Cass, Australia
with love Pamela x
