Hi there!
While the UK is deciding whether we're in Winter or Spring (we had one amazing weekend) I see sun dresses and shorts appearing for Spring wear in various parts of the globe. I'll try not to be envious!
I featured how to discover your Face Shape last month and some of you asked about long faces. I've now updated it and the next feature in the series Face Shapes and Glasses is up and running too (see below) - I hope you'll find it useful.
Still not confident when choosing between Warm and Cool colors? Well I've created a FREE download for you to make it easy. See WARM v COOL below.
Have a Happy Easter everyone!
Are you confident when you're looking for colors to suit you?
Identifying a WARM or COOL undertone will give you a FAST TRACK to COLOR!
And if you know which you are it can still be difficult to recognize the shades you're looking for.
I've created a FREE DOWNLOAD to make it really easy when you're out and about.
A fabulous place to start whatever your color direction.
The connection between your face shape and glasses frames is an important factor to consider when making your choice of flattering spectacles.
It's important to find a frame that's attractive as well as comfortable so that you feel your best, otherwise you may not wear the glasses as much as you should. And, of course, if you know your Color Family then make sure you choose a frame that suits your coloring.
Question: To transition from dyed brown hair to grey, I got highlights which are lighter and yellower than my natural regrowth. The contrast between my skin and the highlights is lower than I think my natural grey will be (my natural colour is about 3 inches currently so the light yellow is dominant at the sides of my face/neck).

“The Spring colors would take her into sharp citrus tones which are too harsh while Autumn colors overall are too dark and heavy.”
These are the words I'd written that prompted Karen to contact me for Color Analysis. Although she'd had other opinions, she was instinctively choosing yellow undertones rather than blue i.e. Warm rather than Cool. So although she felt she was in the right direction she really wanted a definite direction as certain colors from both Spring and Autumn were pulling her.
While she loved the peachy pinks of Spring many of the shades are far too harsh for her soft complexion. Karen, like many of us, finds that transitioning into grey often brings a change of complexion too.
The Warm color family puts into effect exactly the words Karen read - she has the warmth but without harsh or heavy colors. And look how lovely she looks when light colors are close to her face, particularly her favorite peachy pinks!
